Short messaging service is a communications protocol which allows the interchanging of short text messages between mobile telephone devices. Hey wait a minute, don’t freak out. I’m not intending to irk you anyway, just read on; rest of the prose is informal enough. :)
During the times of its incipience, Heroin addicts would have had a better control over their wanton desires. That was the paramount level of the “SMS freaks” (I would stand somewhere high on the list). The sound of the beep or the quivering of the mobile device inside the pocket is all what we were waiting for, to pick it up and the read those few lines from our loved-ones and send a reply with an invigorated monotone. The feeling was something unparalleled to think of even now, where we didn’t realize, that it was after all a mode of talking no different than a phone conversation, only on a milder expense. I thought it always rejuvenated our nerves, and made us inseparable from the cellular. Apart from just titillating us all the more, it was certainly this “facile” method for reaching our acquaintances.
As days went by, though we hadn’t lost our inherent practice of messaging, stood with us were the multifarious services which made our secret conversations easier by the introduction of manifold schemes of free messages. A big bow to all of them, in spite of the fact that they infuse charges for messages on the festive days. Not only were the schemes innumerable, so were the catchy ring tones. Starting from the elementary “beep once” to the close-to-heart songs from the latest hit-list hold a place in our activation device to intimate us on the “what’s up” with our close friends.
User-friendliness has been an embodiment of the cellular device that we use when it comes to typing long messages, just like how it gave way to communicate with people in minuscule of a minute. Dictionary mode, non-dictionary mode, number mode were some of those features which ensure reliability of a message being effortlessly typed out and send it to our beloved. Usage of the modes is primarily the user’s preference who might feel even a non-dictionary mode if he had gotten used to it. Talking about getting-used stuffs, would rather end up telling you about the intimacy developed between the user and the “first-used” mobile phone. A Nokia-user would dare not switch over to a Sony Ericcson until last owing to the fact that there’s a difference in messaging style of each cellular brand which has been attributed to its own company.
SMS always had a close pendant, the anonymous numbers. Pranksters, willfully or not was not the concern, spend uninterrupted hours sending “wanna know more bout ya” messages to the numbers they possessed (God knows how they managed to get hold of them). Though not serious, friends plagiarized such ideas and tried it on us from their new phone number which they changed each month. After all, changing numbers for them was an a la mode thing those days, even for some these days.
Though “messaging” had turned out to be less whimsical after those bygone years, still it has reserved niche in our everyday life. There are some people (include me in), who still haven’t lost the zest for SMS, who morning till night have their communication device by their side. Be it forwarded message or a frivolous chat, SMS is such a windfall to the youngsters. Amongst the forwarded message were the Sardharji jokes, adult jokes, mathematical riddles, greetings, friendship, love, motivational quotes, informational messages and it includes what not.
Whilst few of us who still possess unchanged piety towards the service, there are few other ignominious morons who don’t have the basic sense of replying to their trusted ones. Dumb reasons were supposedly on its way when asked the reason for such treatment and its all enough for a person to get inundated in a complete fretful state.
So mind it all those passionate message-senders, don’t care a whit to reply to those fickle minded people. You have all rights to ignore such debilitated “things” on earth!!

Hmmm... It would be cool if you could relate something with your life rather than making it general. Its always more interesting how something affects in your life (funny moments etc) in a blog than a complete analysis ;) just my thought!
